Today’s Styling 101 post is about mixing things up – From textures & fabrics to mixing metals. I love how this look pairs vintage gold and silver brooches & cocktail rings - The different styles & metals make the look more striking and visually interesting.

The other thing that’s so fun about this look is the variety of textures & fabrics in the clothing - The coat alone has faux fur sleeves, a tweed torso, and cashmere trim. And pairing it with a pleated mini skirt, jersey & leather top, and striped tights created a cozy Winter look that, despite being mostly black, was still very fun & one-of-a-kind.
